Independent Light Infantry Armory and Museum: A superb tourist attraction that takes you for a military journey back in time. This museum exhibits the documents, uniforms and other artifacts of the oldest southern militia unit and also specifies the history in incessant existence in the US. This museum is only open by appointment so when you plan to visit this place get your reservation done to avoid any on spot hassle. Market House: This tourist attraction is one of the city’s trademark symbols whose architecture is inspired from architecture of 1832 and it is also registered in the National Register of Historic Places. During the seminal years of Fayetteville it was center of all business activities including the period as a slave market. The renovation of this building refurbished the trade in downtown area.
